Tails, Trails, and Wagging Tales: The Cocker Spaniel Meet Up 2025

Back in May, something wonderful happened along the Cornish coast. The air was filled with excitement, the scent of salty sea breeze, and the unmistakable sound of dozens of tails wagging in happy unison. That’s right, The Cocker Spaniel Meet Up 2025 was back, and it was every bit as joyful, chaotic, and heart warming as we’d hoped.
Hosted by Cornish Ramblings, this annual event has quickly become a much-loved fixture in our calendar, drawing spaniel lovers from across the county (and beyond!) for a day of walking, wagging, and woofs.
A Sea of Spaniels
If you’ve never experienced the sight of over 100 excitable, floppy-eared cocker spaniels bouncing across a vast expanse of golden sand together, let us paint you a picture: sheer, unfiltered joy.
With tails high and ears flapping in the breeze, these four-legged adventurers took to the scenic route with their humans in tow, exploring one of Cornwall’s most beautiful beaches with boundless enthusiasm.
From golden oldies to mischievous pups, every dog brought its own unique character to the day, and we’re pretty sure they knew they were the stars of the show.
Community, Companionship, and Chaos
At the heart of this meet-up is community. It’s a chance not just for the dogs to socialise, but for their humans to connect too. Many of us have met lifelong friends through Cornish Ramblings, and events like this one only deepen those bonds.
And of course, no Cornish Ramblings event would be complete without laughter, shared stories, and a lots of photos that somehow manages to be both perfectly chaotic and heart-melting. There was also the opportunity for the dogs AND owners to enjoy a very splashy kind of pool party,
