About Us
Pull on your walking boots and let's go for a hike
Cornish Ramblings was created by Jody and is a friendly community walking group of novice walkers, keen hikers, sturdy stompers, active explorers, fair-weather adventurers, hill seekers, coastal lovers, woodland ramblers and most importantly; walking addicts. We love finding new routes, going along familiar trails, sharing our favourite places, making new friends, finding pubs and eating cake!
As long as you have a passion for walking (and Cornwall of course!) and are able to safely get around the route with us, everyone is welcome. We go out between 2-4 times a month and usually on a weekend. The locations throughout Cornwall will vary; one weekend we could be rambling around the west coast and the next, you'll find us exploring the north coast.
No matter where you are in Cornwall, there will always be a ramble for you.

The mileage and gradients vary from ramble to ramble; we walk anywhere between 3-12+ miles and the walks can range from a slow and steady amble, to a more challenging hike; but no matter your hiking experience/abilities, there'll be something to suit you.
We are dog and child friendly!

Each walk you join will cost only a £3 donation per person per ramble; this is to help towards the running costs of the group, including the website. You will be asked to pay by cash at the start of each walk
Please note, this is a donation and not mandatory.
If any of the above sounds like your cup of tea then come along and join us.
