Kid friendly?

Absolutely. In fact, we encourage families to come along and join us for a ramble. Cornwall is not the most accessible place when it comes to walking, but I try to offer walks for all ages and would love to see more young people joining us.

Are dogs allowed?

Being a dog owner, I am completely happy for those of you with dogs to bring them along to a ramble, but I have to also be mindful of those who come along without dogs or who may be a little worried or wary about dogs off leads around them.

I want to ensure everyone who comes along is happy and enjoying their experience so, with this in mind, I have come up with a few guidance "rules" for anyone who brings a dog(s) along to a ramble to ensure everyone is treated the same and has a lovely time.

How do I book onto a ramble?

In a nutshell:

1. Sign up to mailing list

2. Wait to recieve the newsletter which has the rambles details inside.

3. Follow the directions within said newsletter.

Crossing the Finish Line

When do the rambles usually finish?

This can all depend on the length of walk, terrain, group size, and other factors such as weather and how often we stop.

Usually the rambles finish around 1-2pm but if it is a lengthier ramble, it could be more like 3pm. All these details are refined per ramble and shared with those looking to book on.

How do you plan your routes?

Cornish Ramblings uses the fantastic app iWalk Cornwall (not sponsored, all walks paid for) for most of our organised walks.

We believe in supporting local businesses and encourage anyone joining our rambles to use iWalk Cornwall where possible.
