Nothing makes me happier than when my walking socks coordinate with my outer layer!
We all know the weather can change in a heartbeat when out hiking in Cornwall. One minute you're stripping the layers off, and then the next moment you're huddling under a tree desperately trying to pull your waterproofs on.
Being prepared with layers that are easy to whip on and off is a staple for my outdoorsing wardrobe so when I was kindly gifted this delicious aubergine-coloured showerproof popover by the loves over at ACAI Outdoorwear, I was like an excitable kid when I realised I could match it to my aubergine socks!!

I wore my popover this weekend whilst exploring the windy coastal paths of Port Isaac and then on my Sunday ramble around the nippy Charlestown and Porthpean and thankfully, the popover offered me a stylish yet protective alternative from the wind and showers, whilst also keeping me cool when the sun reared its bright head out from behind the clouds.
