As we rambled our way out of 2023 and into 2024, one thing I know I will look back on with nothing but absolute love and joy, are the adventures we’ve shared together on foot across Cornwall.
A new year can have different meanings for us all.
Personally, I like to reflect on the ups and downs and take pride in what I’ve achieved, admiration of what I’ve survived, and fulfilment in the times shared with loved ones. It’s not all been smooth sailing, but this is where I’ve truly found who I am; where I’ve taught myself resilience, compassion, and most importantly, kindness.
I see it as a continuous journey, rather than the end of one year and the start of another. And while I like to manifest new intentions for the year ahead, I go into it with an open heart and a clear mind, with a reminder of what I’ve learnt the months before.
It’s been another year of fun with my ramblers where we’ve explored miles of coastline, rambled across every terrain, made new friends that will stay with us as the new year chimes, and seen more of our beloved Cornwall.
I for one have had the BEST year with you all and am excited for what’s ahead.
